On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Eastman School of Music hosted its graduation ceremony in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, honoring the accomplishments of its students across various disciplines. Among the distinguished graduates was Federico Ercoli, who received a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Performance and Literature (Piano) along with several notable accolades.
Recognition and Achievements
Certificate of Advanced Achievement in Early Music
Ercoli was one of only two students to be awarded this prestigious certificate, which provides advanced instruction in historical performance practices and practical training on period instruments or voice.
Pi Kappa Lambda
Ercoli was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda, a national honor society for music scholars and performers. As a member of Eastman’s Beta Pi Chapter, Ercoli joined an exclusive group of musicians recognized for their scholarly and artistic excellence.
Jerald C. Graue Fellowship
Additionally, Ercoli received the Jerald C. Graue Fellowship, which honors exceptional musicological research. This award reflects his dedication to both performance and academic scholarship in music.
